If you would like to visit the capital of Namibia, Windhoek then allow 11 hours from Chobe National Park to Windhoek. Near Windhoek Arebbusch Self-Catering accommodation will be the best accommodation. If you travel via the Caprivi to Namibia you would probably like to visit DAMARALAND and Etosha National Park. Etosha is Namibia's best game reserve. In Etosha you can stay amongst others at Etosha self catering Lodge very similar accommodation to Senyati Safari Camp.
In Damaraland we recommend that you stay at Palmwag Lodge for at least 2 days after your drive from Chobe National Park. Damaraland is as interesting as Chobe but much drier. After the beauty of Senyati Safari Camp you can consider visiting the Skeleton Coast along the Namib Desert. Stay a night in Cape Cross Lodge and experience the best that the Namib has to offer.
Three days drive from Senyati Safari Camp lies Sossusvlei in the Namib Desert. This area can only be reached by 4x4, however any 4x4 from Temba Car Hire can easily get to Sossuvlei. At Sossusvlei you will overnight at the luxury Sossusvlei Lodge or luxury self-catering accommodation namely, Sossusvlei Desert Lodge. Your last stop in Namibia would most likely be Grunau Lodge Namibia between Noordoewer and Keetmanshoop in the south or you can stay in Grunau Country House bed and breakfast accommodaion in the old Grunau Hotel in Grunua in between Noordoewer and Keetmanshoop in Namibia. Further south and two days from Chobe and senyati Safari Lodge is Orange River Lodge famous for self-catering accommodation in Noordoewer near the South African border.
Two days drive from Senyati Safari Camp and the Chobe National Park is Swakopmund Namibia's best known coastal resort. Here you can stay in self-catering accommodation such as The Municipal Rest Camp or Alte Brucke. Perhaps Swakopmund is the place where you want to spoil yourselves and your loved ones. The Stiltz will be just the place for you. They offer excellent accommodation at Swakopmund.
There are 3 flights per week from South Africa to Kasane and Chobe. You will most likely visit South Africa after your stay at Senyati Safari Camp. If you want something wild and unique but very different to Senyati Safri Camp, why not visit the Wildcoast? You can fly from Kasane via Johannesburg to Mthatha. After a night at Umtata Savoy Hotel you can consider a visit to Port St Johns where you could stay at either Umngazi River Lodge or at N'taba River Lodge. Other Wildcoast resorts include self-catering accommodation at Hole-in-the-Wall and family accommodation at Mazeppa Bay Hotel and Kob Inn Hotel.
In Kwazulu Natal we strongly recommened the Amazian Mountain River Lodge in the Underberg district in the Drakensberg mountains of South Africa.
The Freestate is South Africa's most central province and Bloemfontein is the capital city of the Freestate. Allow 2 days to drive from Chobe National Park in Botswana to Bloemfontein. Here you can overnight at Sangiro Lodge Bloemfontein or at Bains Game Lodge Bloemfontein where you will often see game. About an hours drive from Bloemfontein is Hakuna Matata Guesthouse in Koffiefontein, a mining town in the Freestate of South Africa.
Temba recommends the Merino Inn Motel just outside Colesberg in South Africa. Gables Inn Colesberg offers self-catering accommodation in Colesberg. In Hanover, South Africa you can stay in affordable accommodation at Hanover Inn or at Hanover Lodge Bed and Breakfast. Directly west of Hanover and 2 days drive from Senyati Safari Camp in Chobe, Botswana lies Britstown. In Britsown you can stay at Britstown Transkaroo Lodge or on a Karoo farm in self-catering accommodation, the Britstown Kambro Lodge 20 km north of Britstown, South Africa.
