Senyati Safari Lodge chalets and campsites near the Chobe National Park, are very private, but certainly not the waterhole which is visited by numerous big game. Each campsite has its own ablution block. From the bar you can enjoy the game which visits the waterhole without any need to travel.
Although other humanoids may not be a nuisance while you are in the shower, we can never guarantee that some big game might not pop in for a drink. This Chobe lodge will bring you very close to nature.
Senyati Safari Lodge and camp brings you back to nature and nature back to you. We are not five star when it comes to our facilities but certainly when it comes to our service and the environment.
Senyati Safari Lodge is a privately owned property about 20 km from the world-renown Chobe National Park. There are no fences between the Chobe and Senyati Safari Lodge. Senyati has it's own waterhole and viewing deck and as a result, you will see animals, including three of the big five, on your doorstep. However, elephants are the dominating animals at the waterhole. They frequently bathe themselves in order to cool down.
Senyati Safari Lodge's aim is to offer excellent value for money for those on self-drive tours. It is a brand new lodge which opened in 2008. We offer camping and each stand is equipped with it's own private facilities. Our chalets are self-catering (self contained) and fully equipped. We are the only self-catering accommodation at the Chobe National Park.
Our self-catering (self contained) accommodation are comfortable chalets with en-suite facilities. There is also a cash bar available.

The camping at Senyati Safari camp is very private. Each campsite has it's own small ablution block with electricity. You are therefore guaranteed clean and tidy facilities at all times.
- Senyati Safari camp is located on the Nata\Kazungula main road 8 km before Kazungula and 18 km from Chobe Game Reserve
- Senyati has an elevated cash bar overlooking a waterhole with flood lights
- There are 9 self-contained thatched campsites with 220 v socket outlets
- Each campsite has it's own ablution block
- There are three self-catering ( self contained ) chalets with a fridge/freezer, 2 plate stove and cutlery
OTHER LODGES IN BOTSWANA
The Chobe Game Reserve can be rated as one of Botswana's best known tourist destinations, right after the Okavango Delta. Senyati Safari Lodge is truly the answer for those who prefer self catering accommodation. You will never be disappointed with the game around this camp. However, some people might want to stay on the banks of the Chobe river or would prefer more upmarket accommodation. Toro Safari Lodge is on on the Chobe River and it is a fully serviced hotel. It is not necessarily more upmarket than Senyati Safari Camp, but you will not need to break the bank to stay there. A more exclusive option might be Chobe Safari Lodge on the border of the Chobe Game reserve. This is a luxury 4 star hotel. The Mowana Safari Lodge is also a four star hotel, but perhaps slightly more luxurious than the Chobe Safari Lodge. Perhaps Chobe Safari Lodge offers the best value for money after Senyati Safari Camp in this region.
Most people visit Maun before or after their visit to Chobe. There is a wide selection of luxury hotels in Maun which is the gateway to the Okavango Delta in Botswana. It is advisable to spent a night or two on the Makgadgadi pans on route between Chobe and Maun. Planet Baobab will be a the perfect accommodation option. It is near Gweta and 400 km from Senyati Safari Camp and 200 km from Maun and the Okavango Delta.

LODGES IN NAMIBIA
Grunau Country House is a very popular hotel in Namibia and perhaps a overnight stop if you decide to drive from Senyati Safari Camp in Chobe to Cape Town via Namibia. Another option would be Mariental River Chalets next to the main road. Mariental River Chalets offers self-catering (self contained) accommodation.
LODGES IN SOUTH AFRICA
The Regent in East London is a luxury hotel near the beach in the Eastern Cape South Africa and is a lovely place to stay if you should be going this way after your trip to Senyati. Sun River Lodge in Upington is a luxury guesthouse on the banks of the Orange River in Upington in the North Cape of South Africa and a good overnight stop on your way from the Cape through Nambia and to Senyati Safari Camp.
ACCOMMODATION IN ZIMBABWE
Perhaps you want to visit Zimbabwe after your visit to the Chobe Game Reserve. The Zimbabwean border is less than 3 km from Senyati Safari Lodge. We strongly recommend that you visit the Troutbeck Inn hotel and resort near Nyanga in the Eastern Highlands even though it is two day's drive from Kasane. The Great Zimbabwe Hotel is also highly recommended if you want to to visit Great Zimbabwe.
